MS Office 2003 2007 2010 Portable Edition __HOT__

To open a file that was created in another file format, either in an earlier version of Excel or in another program, click File > Open. If you open an Excel 97-2003 workbook, it automatically opens in Compatibility Mode. To take advantage of the new features of Excel 2010, you can save the workbook to an Excel 2010 file format. However, you also have the option to continue to work in Compatibility Mode, which retains the original file format for backward compatibility.

What to do To make sure that the workbook does not exceed the 64,000 CLB limit and that it can be opened in Excel 97-2003, you should work in Compatibility Mode in Excel 2007 and up after you save the workbook to Excel 97-2003 file format. In Compatibility Mode, Excel keeps track of the CLBs in the active workbook.

LibreOffice Portable is a full-featured portable version of LibreOffice for Windows - including a word processor, spreadsheet, presentation tool, drawing package and database - packaged as a portable app, so you can take all your documents and everything you need to work with them wherever you go. Additional functionality including the Base database and document creation wizards is enabled by installing the jPortable portable Java runtime environment. LibreOffice Portable is compatible with Microsoft Office, Word Perfect, Lotus and other office applications.

Here's something interesting: an entire office productivity suite that can run from a USB drive. It's LibreOffice Portable, a portable-ized version of The Document Foundation's free open-source suite. It's compatible with most other productivity suites and tools, including Word, WordPerfect, and Lotus, and packs the tools you need, including a word processor, spreadsheet, presentation maker, drawing tool, and database.

LibreOffice is free and is based on OpenOffice that is compatible with files created from Microsoft Office which makes it a great alternative. Unlike other free office suites, LibreOffice even provides an official portable version directly from their website instead of taking the risk in downloading from unknown or untrustworthy sources. The portable version of LibreOffice contains Writer (Word), Calc (Excel), Draw (Visio), Impress (PowerPoint), Base (Access) and Math.

SSuite Office is another free office suite software and they provide a portable version known as the blade runner. It is compatible with all versions of Windows and it comes with two office components which is the WordGraph (Word) and Accel (Excel) while the rest are just utilities such as email client, file searching tool, web browser, address book, instant messenger, PDF creator and etc.

Legacy programs don't receive security updates, don't have the newest features, and might not work correctly with modern hardware. If you're going to put out money for Office, it makes better sense to shell out for the latest version (or Office 365, where you'll always get updates) than an ancient version. Also, note that the oldest version that Windows 10 is officially compatible with is Office 2007; you'll have to toy with Compatibility Mode to use 2003 so your results may vary.

The tool that Saikat covered, UBitMenu, is available for free and is stated to work with Office 2007, 2010, and 2013. It's worth a shot to download the program and see if it makes your existing installation of Office 2010 or 2013 enough like 2003. If not, simply uninstall it and try another option above.

Leo, regarding the question about Office 2003 on a Windows 10 computer, I have found that Office 2007 works fine with Windows 10. Windows 7 can be found on ebay for as little as $15 and is compatible with Office 2003 and Office 2010.

MSTview.exe is a free, portable transform (.mst) viewer that is found in the Office 2003 Editions Resource Kit, as well as the Office XP Resource Kit. Rather than install the entire Resource Kit just to get this one file, try this:
